ZONERS is a sci-fi thriller set in a post-alien-invasion world where dangerous extraterrestrial creatures known as Phasers are confined to heavily fortified containment zones. Desperate to earn money for her dying father's life-saving surgery, Cara, a young taxi driver, accepts a high-risk job transporting a mysterious man named Mr. Leonard into one of these restricted areas. When Leonard reveals he is holding her father's life hostage, Cara is forced to help him complete a secret mission deep within the Zone. As she struggles to survive encounters with the deadly alien ecosystem, she begins to discover that the Phasers may be far more intelligent and complex than humanity believes, uncovering truths that challenge everything she has been taught about the creatures and the world she lives in.
